Being confident in yourself is so rare that people actually get mad at you if you are.

"I enjoy controlled loneliness. I like wandering around the city alone. I’m not afraid of coming back to an empty flat and lying down in an empty bed. I’m afraid of having no one to miss, of having no one to love."

You would be surprised with how many people in your life could be going through depression at this very moment.  People hide it like a paper bag over their heads out of fear of being judged, made fun of, seen as weak, or just not taken seriously.  Depression should not be taken lightly, it holds us down from our purpose and potential in life.  Those who tell you that it doesn’t exist have never experienced depression in their life, therefore not understanding the symptoms and how it’s something that cannot be fixed in a day!  So if you think you are depressed or if you think you know someone else who is, please talk to a friend, a family member, or anyone else in your life that you trust - never overlook the possibility of seeing a doctor for more professional help!!  Your feelings are real, your feelings are shared upon millions.  Don’t hide it, talk to someone about it.  With the right help, you can rediscover your confidence and begin life anew with our undying love and support!

We are right here!!

As a paranormal/horror blogger I can assure you these child abuse ads are the most scariest and saddest thing I’ve ever seen. Probably because things like that are happening RIGHT NOW at this very INSTANT.

And it’s horrifying but hopefully these ads bring more attention towards it.

I got these from this buzzfeed article. You can view more ads and the sources for these ads there as well.

Pictures From Another Time

In 1997, a woman named Rita Swift found an old roll of undeveloped film. It had a note attached “taken in our backyard Sep. 1969”. Rita took the roll in for developing but the photo lab and, to everyone’s amazement, 19 of the 20 pictures developed successfully.

The first 16 pictures were typical photos of Rita’s 5-year-old daughter, her cat, her swing set and other normal backyard pictures but pictures 17 through 19 turned out a bit different. As you can see, it appears that these last three pictures which were also taken in the backyard in 1969 display a different event of a time long ago when Native Americans owned the land.

If real, the images in these pictures would date anywhere from the 17th or 18th century. (Source)
